Welcome to Carclaze Farm
Carclaze Farm offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in a quiet rural setting. Four bespoke cottages have been created by converting farm buildings dating back to the fifteenth century, when the property formed part of the Duchy of Cornwall. The cottages are just a few miles from many of Cornwall’s most popular destinations, including sandy beaches at Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay, the fishing villages of Port Isaac and Padstow, and the Eden Project.
Owners Allen and Jean Nicholls were born in the area, and have lived at Carclaze Farm for over 25 years, giving them a wealth of local knowledge to share with visitors. They play an active part in the local community, and are only too happy to advise guests on the latest attractions Cornwall has to offer. Children are invited to pull on their wellies and help with the morning feed of the chickens, ducks, geese, goats and sheep residing in the paddock. An outdoor play area for younger visitors is overlooked by a few neighbouring sheep, and occasionally Zippy the friendly farm dog. Carclaze is also one of Alastair Sawday's Special Places.
